Orange Lutheran High School, also known as "OLHS" is co-educational high school located in the city of Orange, in a suburban and residential community. Since opening its doors in 1973, Orange Lutheran has grown into one of Southern California's top private high schools, offering state and nationally-recognized programs in academics, athletics, and the arts. In 2014, the school completed a round of renovations as part of its "Beyond Expectations" program which added 40,000 sq. ft. of new buildings to the school’s footprint. including a new academic center, three new classrooms, and new collaborative meeting spaces for students, teachers and parents, in addition to the student commons and a 12,900 sq. ft. covered lunch area. Orange Lutheran's Alexandra Nechita Center for the Arts has a 740-seat performance hall and is home to drama, dance, instrumental and vocal music productions, guest speakers and chapel service.

OLHS offers college preparatory academics, including 19 Advanced Placement and 20 Honor subjects. In addition to traditional courses, OLHS offers fully accredited online courses taught through Orange Lutheran Online (OLO) as well as hybrid courses that are taught utilizing both on campus and online instruction.

- Assist students with the college decision making process, including individual college planning appointments to help students find the college or university that is right for them
- Counsel students regarding relevant testing (SAT, ACT, etc.) procedures and dates as well as providing practice test opportunities
- Provide comprehensive college planning seminars for each grade level as well as seminars on topics such as college athletics, college financial aid, and transitioning to college
- Assist with college and career exploration using Naviance Family Connection
- Provide college application workshops to assist seniors with the college application process
- Provide academic advising for future college athletes with the guidance of our NCAA Adviser

Athletics: Exchange Students are encouraged to tryout for OLHS athletic high school teams: Orange Lutheran has 20 varsity athletic teams, including hockey, which won the 2014-15 State title. They include football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, water polo, swimming, soccer, golf, track and field, cross country, tennis, Hockey and wrestling. The school competes in the CIF Southern Section and the Trinity League.
Orange Lutheran’s diverse artistic culture has something to offer everyone interested in the arts. From the toe tappin’ beat of a Broadway musical to the stirring anthems rising from a young orchestra. Whether it’s elegant dancers performing majestic leaps, the graceful brushstroke of a young painter, or an exquisite choral performance led by over 300 voices for glory, Orange Lutheran continues to build on its reputation as an outstanding training ground for music, theater, dance and visual art.
With a 715 seat state of the art theater and performance hall, the Lancer community is blessed to have the preeminent high school performing arts venue in the county where we proudly create, produce and support theater, music and performing arts events year in and year out.

Students exhibit their artwork throughout the year in Orange Lutheran’s Gallery 500 and share their work with the community through competitions and in professional gallery art shows
