Birmingham Community Charter High School also known as "BCCHS" is an independent conversion charter high school located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley in the city of Van Nuys, California. BCCHS collaborates to create an academically challenging, personalized, and supportive environment that prepares individual students to pursue their post high school academic and career goals and provides an innovative and comprehensive learning environment. BCCHS increased autonomy has enabled students and staff to perform at high levels and the community to be more actively involved and encourages students to become committed members of the school community; students will graduate and demonstrate mastery of the California State Content Standards.
