Be a Foreign Exchange Student at Heritage Christian High School! Heritage Christian School (HCS) formerly known as Los Angeles Baptist High School, is a Christian, private, coeducational college preparatory high school located in Northridge, California in the city of Los Angeles. Heritage Christian High School is a new school that offers students a challenging college preparatory education. There are 78 faculty members all holding earned degrees including 36 master’s degrees and 4 earned doctorates. Heritage Christian High School fosters a nurturing environment in which students’ spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and artistic abilities can grow and expand. Heritage Christian High School college advisory staff provides individual counseling and scholarship information for high school students, especially to juniors and seniors. Counselors also provide workshops for parents/students to assist in college planning. Counselors and students utilize Naviance as a College Planning resource in grades 9 through 12. Counselors are available for college planning for students at all grade levels as well. Heritage Christian High School provides a full accompaniment of classrooms and administrative facilities which includes a chapel, science labs, woodshop, art and music rooms, gymnasium, auditorium, libraries and learning centers with fully networked computer system with online access. Heritage Christian High School is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the National Institute for Learning Disabilities. Additionally, Heritage Christian High School is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, the California Scholarship Federation, and the California Interscholastic Federation.
