Located on the historic Stanton Estate in Anaheim, Fairmont Preparatory High School is a non-sectarian high school that attracts students from throughout Southern California and the world. This school stresses academics and was awarded the Blue Ribbon Award from the US Department of Education, the highest honor that an American school can achieve. Fairmont Academy offers an unparalleled 21 AP classes, college level math curriculum, International Baccalaureate (IB), medical and engineering magnet programs, and an international baccalaureate degree. Fairmont Academy is one of two independent high schools in Orange County to offer the IB diploma program. The IB diploma is recognized by colleges and universities around the world and requires special coursework, exams, and independent work. High school age students would attend the International Academy if they are not English proficient. If they are English proficient they attend the Preparatory Academy. Fairmont offers 3 levels of acceptance: International Foundation Year (additional classes in ESL), Direct Entry with Advanced Writing Workshop and Direct Entry/No English Foundation.
