Bishop Guertin (also known as BC) is a college preparatory private Roman Catholic high school in Nashua, New Hampshire. Bishop Guertin is in the heart of New England, Nashau is just an hour's ride to the center of Boston and is surrounded by a scenic countryside and small rural towns and to the west, east, south and north are picturesque white mountains, lake region and the seacoast. Bishop Guertin's rigorous college-preparatory program prepares students to excel in college. All classes are either College Prep, Honors or Advanced Placement courses. BC offers 76 College Prep classes, 17 AP classes and 41 Honor classes. According to PSAT testing data Bishop Guertin students are “college ready” by 10th grade.
BC has one of the highest rates of college acceptance for its students in New Hampshire, which reached an all time high in 2015, with 100% of the graduating class accepted into at least 1 college

In addition to being a highly recognized academic school, Bishop Guertin's sports teams are highly regarded. The boys hockey team won back-to-back Division I state championships in 2000 and 2001 and in 2007 and 2008, and in 2015. The boys lacrosse team won 5 state championships in a row, but lost to Pinkerton in 2015. The girls lacrosse team won the state championship in 2015. BG has over 30 students committed to play a Division 1 sport in college (such was Brown University and Harvard University).
Bishop Guertin has 4 levels of acceptance: Direct Entry Level, Support Level 1, Support Level 2 and Support Level 3.
Direct Entry: IELTS 7.0 or above, TOEFL IBT 88 or above, SLATE 6.5 or above. With Direct Entry students do not take additional Language Foundation Classes and have the same class schedule as American Students.
Support Level 1: IELTS 6.0-6.5, TOEFL IBT 79-87, SLATE 5.0-6.0. This level of support provides advanced students the opportunity to further refine their mastery of English with classes correlated to other Bishop Guertin classes specifically writing, reading, vocabulary and critical thinking. Class includes: Academic Fluency- Advancement
Support Level 2: IELTS 5.0-5.5, TOEFL IBT 59-78, SLATE 4.5-5.4. This level of support provides intermediate students the opportunity to upgrade their English to an advanced level focusing on academics skills in writing, reading, listening, speaking and vocabulary. Classes include: Academic Fluency- Intermediate, Academic Skills Advancement
Support Level 3: IELTS 4.0-4.5, TOEFL IBT 39-58, SLATE 3.0-4.4. This level of support provides low intermediate students the opportunity to advance their fluency in all areas of Academic English: listening, speaking, reading and writing in classes that are contextualized to their Bishop Guertin classes. Classes include: Academic Fluency -Intermediate, Academic Skills -Advancement
Bishop Guertin offers student support from Saint Anthony's teachers but for those students having difficulty in a particular subject may be matched with a peer tutor. Peer tutors are typically members of the Saint Anthony's National Honor Society and make themselves during free periods and throughout the day.
At Bishop Guertin at the start of school, each international student will receive between 25-50 points (semester of full year). These points are used toward activities of interest and allows students to chose from a wide variety of excursions without concern of planning or expenditures.
