Dos Pueblos High School (also known as "DPHS) is a California Distinguished Blue Ribbon School and is located in Goleta, California, west of Santa Barbara. In 2012, Newsweek ranked Dos Pueblos High School as 597 within the top 1000 high schools in America, far surpassing any others in the area. Dos Pueblos is an IB World School; however, the majority of students participate in a curriculum that includes vocational, college preparation, and Advanced Placement course. Dos Pueblos Mock Trial Program finished second at the 2012 Empire World Invitational . A return trip to Empire in 2013 ended with a 4th place WORLD ranking. The Dos Pueblos Theatre Company challenges its participants and audiences to think, dream and live creatively through visionary programming, collaboration with leading resident theater companies and colleges, ongoing community outreach, interaction with professional artists and unique performance opportunities for all levels and interests. *Dos Pueblos High School offers the IB Program which gives students a rigorous, creative, college-level curriculum that develops students' academic and personal skills.
