Would you like to become a Foreign Exchange Student at Calabasas High School? This school is a great choice! Calabasas High School also known as "CHS" is part of the Las Virgines Unified District (LVUSD) located in the very beautiful upscale city of Calabasas, California in the city of Los Angeles. LVUSD is one of the highest ranked districts in the state of California and is a California Distinguished School.  California Academic Performance Index (API) is in the top 6% of all California High Schools
Advanced Placement Courses: Many Exchange Students who qualify want to take Advance Placement courses to receive college credit in subjects like: English IV , European History, U.S. History, U.S. Government .Chemistry, Environment Science, Physics Calculus AB, Calculus BC, ,Statistics, Computer Science Spanish V, French V 

Honors Classes: 
Exchange students also often take honors courses like: English I, English II, English II, Biology, Physiology, Chemistry, Geometry, Algebra II, Math Analysis, Spanish IV, French IV, US History 

Athletics & Extra-Curricular Activities
Athletics: Exchange Students can tryout for one of these great school team sports! Water Polo, Cross Country, Basketball, Soccer, Wrestling, Volleyball, Swimming, Track & Field, Golf, Tennis, Softball, Baseball, Football, Lacrosse and Cheerleading. 

 Student Clubs: Exchange students are welcomed to join one of the school clubs like:

The Arts: 
Dance
Are you an Exchange Student interested in Dance? The Calabasas High School Dance Team performs at football games, basketball games, dance concerts, and competitions throughout Southern California. Auditions for Dance Team are held in May. All grade levels are welcome.


Music
Are you an Exchange Student interested in Music? There are opportunities available at Calabasas High School to play, sing and learn about music for all different levels.  We have a wonderful choir, instrumental group, marching band, wind ensemble, concert band, string orchestra, jazz band and others.


Theater
Are you and Exchange Student interested in Theater Arts? Calabasas High School provides students with a variety of opportunities to get involved with the performing arts. Our theater program has a full curriculum of Theater and Stagecraft classes during the school day and an extensive after school program.
 

Performance Art Center

The 33,000-square-foot Performance Art Center will include stadium seating for about 650 people, an orchestra lift and pit, professional lighting and an audio-visual control room. Both also will have dressing rooms, ticket and concession booths, lobbies, and smaller theaters with a seating capacity of 100 that will double as classrooms.
