Become a Host Family to a Foreign Exchange Student

WELCOME TO THE IACE HOST FAMILY / HOMESTAY PROGRAM

Would you like to Become a Host Family?

Do you want to host a foreign exchange student in your home? Being a host family can be a rewarding experience. Not only are you providing the exchange student with the thrill of a lifetime to live in Los Angeles, but you are also creating an incredible experience for you and your family, too. And if you want to become a host family, we can help.

International Academic Cultural Exchange, Inc (IACE) is a cultural exchange company based in Los Angeles that offers high school international students from different countries the opportunity to study abroad at an American High School, whether public, private or boarding school. Exchange Students also get to experience the American education system, improve their English speaking skills, experience new customs, participate in the culture of our country and build many memorable and positive memories.

Because we are such a diverse community, our host families can range from single parents, married with or without children, grandparents, widowed from many different religions, etc... Host Families are given a generous monthly stipend.

When you open your home to an international exchange student and become a host family, you will gain a son or daughter, a brother or sister to your children or a grandchild. Our mission is to give a memorable positive experience to both the exchange student and the host family. We look for open, out-going, communicative and caring host families that will provide a loving and safe environment and that will treat and care for that international student in the same way they care about their own family.

As a host family, you will be giving an exchange student the opportunity to develop their English skills and leadership skills that will help them throughout their lives. If you would like to be part of the IACE Homestay Program complete the host family application below or if you have any questions about the IACE Homestay Program email us at www.info@iacela.com!
